Since its invention several decades ago on the Åland Islands by Finn Jorma Turunen, this exceptional lure has enjoyed phenomenal success throughout Europe. These handcrafted wooden abachi lures are now made in Germany. Originally, it was used for trolling for pike. Today, the Turus Ukko is mainly used for casting.
This 9-centimetre version is particularly effective for zander and perch fishing. During the warmer months, when predators are feeding on small prey, it can also catch pike.
