The split Toulousain float is one of the new arrivals in the GARBOLINO STREAMLINE accessory family, devoted to all forms of trout fishing. Handcrafted in Portuguese cork, the Toulousain float has an elongated conical shape, well suited to fairly strong currents. We chose to use reconstituted Portuguese cork, as opposed to natural cork; this material allows for a smooth surface, without porosity and therefore better durability, topped off with controlled density. Thanks to these technical characteristics, we have been able to reduce the amount of varnish and paint, which prevents chipping in case of impacts on rocks and limits the impact of polluting products on the environment. The central stem is made of machined bamboo, this material, thanks to its long fibres, is both straight and very strong, in case of loss, this natural product can decompose within a few months. We have chosen 2 types of colour schemes combining Orange and Fluo yellow, these 2 colours being the most visible at short and medium distances. Artisanal manufacture in Europe ensures a high level of finish and consistency, making this simple product a pleasure to use. In its split version, this float can be mounted on the line without having to cut the thread, which is particularly useful when frequently switching fishing spots.
