The Cascapedia MKV carries on the legacy of one of Hardy’s most iconic classics: it retains its timeless style, characteristic sound and handcrafted finish, while offering a new level of performance and reliability. Beneath its frame lies a completely new sealed carbon disc drag system, delivering a smoother start-up, greater drag power and complete protection for use in a variety of conditions. The new dimensions ensure perfect balance with modern rods and fly lines, while a redesigned drag knob improves grip and adjustment accuracy. With its unmistakable Cascapedia profile and the characteristic Hardy reel click, the MKV is built to meet the demands of today’s anglers without losing the character that made it legendary.
• Classic Cascapedia design with Hardy’s iconic sound and modern engineering throughout • New sealed carbon disc drag: smooth, powerful and corrosion-resistant • Updated dimensions for improved line and backing fit and better rod balance • Improved drag knob for easier, more precise adjustment • Machined from a bar of aluminium for greater, long-lasting strength • Hand-built in Alnwick, England, continuing more than a century of reel-making tradition
