Overall, the Douglas SKY G Fly Rod series offers exceptional damping and recovery, near-effortless casting, great precision and remarkable durability. Among its high-end innovative components are: REC Titanium Cerecoil stripping guides with zirconia inserts, REC Titanium Recoil guides, a AAAA flor cork handle, a skeletonized aluminum reel seat, double ascending locking rings with nylon rings, as well as blackwood burl inserts.

The rod is supplied with a high-end protective cover and an aluminum tube.
