The Noctia headlamp is supplied with a fast-charging USB-C 18350 lithium-ion battery with discharge protection.

For added safety when traveling, the battery poles are located on the same side: simply flip it over to avoid any risk of accidental ignition in your bag or suitcase !

Note : When you receive your new Noctia headlamp, the battery must be inserted the right way round before use.

How to use your NOCTIA :
First use:

Unscrew the housing, remove the battery and insert it the right way round (the white band facing up first). When traveling, we recommend reversing the insertion direction to prevent the lamp from turning on in your bag.

Turning on and off
Long press (2.5 s): the lamp turns on. This safety feature prevents the lamp from accidentally turning on if it is compressed in your pocket or backpack. Another long press turns it off.

Main mode switch intensity
A short click changes the intensity. As a reminder, your lamp has four brightness levels in main mode: 25 lm, 125 lm, 250 lm and 500 lm.

Enter and exit secondary mode
Double-click after turning the lamp on: you access secondary mode. As a reminder, this mode includes a 0.5 W red light, a 1 W red light, a 10 lm white safety light, a red strobe mode, a white strobe mode and a Morse SOS signal.

USB-C fast charging
NOCTIA is compatible with all USB-C cables and supports fast charging.

Storage
To extend battery life, we recommend storing your lamp with about 50% of its charge capacity. The lamp should be kept in a dry place, ideally between 20 and 25 °C.
