The HOVERJIG is a swimming Jig that has been specially developed for fishing Pike. A very effective technique and under-used in Europe, there are times when the pike feed on crayfish in crowded posts (rocks, submerged wood) as much as fish in grassy areas. In these situations, the HOVERJIG is THE appropriate lure! Its streamlined head is adapted to pass through obstacles. The "weed-proof" Brush, long and thin, is the perfect compromise between flexibility (crushing under jaw pressure) and hardness to go through obstacles. The pike are attracted by everything that moves a lot of water! So we have chosen for the skirt a combination of natural hair, flashabou and silicone strands to get maximum volume and add visual flashes and fine vibrations to your trailer. Swelling in water, this Mixed Skirt (MS) will also slow down the fall of your setup as much as possible. Tied with a steel wire, it is more resistant. This is a real advantage on the days when the pike are outside! A safe bet when fishing for pike, we have positioned an eyelet under the jig head to add (or remove!) a blade (supplied with the HOVERJIG). Refusing all compromise we have developed our size 5/0 hook to put all the chances on your side during the fight. Short and wide it will optimize the action of the trailer as much as your strike!
We advise you to associate the HOVERJIG with the following trailers: • Crayfish imitation: - HOURRA CRAW: fine vibration/ pose on the bottom - BOOGIE CRAW: tonic vibration (flapping)/ slows down the descent
• Fish imitation: - TYPSY SXL: Powerful vibration/ drop fishing - PEPS: Gliding effect/ Weed bed area.
