This jighead was historically created on the island of Mauritius. During an exotic stay, a small, fairly heavy jighead with a very short, strong iron hook allowing the casting of very small lures in tuna chases was sorely missed.... the Maurice jighead therefore came into being upon return from that expedition. The shape of this jighead is streamlined to cut through the air and be catapulted to record distances.

This head is perfectly suited to our 6 to 8 cm lures when fitted with 1/0 hooks and to 9 to 11 cm lures with 3/0 hooks. This jighead will therefore delight all sea anglers fishing during chases or topwater, as well as freshwater anglers targeting big pike with small lures
