This jig head was historically created in Mauritius. During an exotic stay, a small and fairly heavy jig head with a very short and strong iron hook, ideal for casting small lure during tuna hunts, was sorely missed... the Mauritius jig head was thus born upon returning from this expedition. The shape of this jig head is streamlined in order to cut through the air and be catapulted to record distances.

This head perfectly adapts to our lures from 2.3 to 3.1 inches for jig heads with 1/0 hooks, and to lures from 3.5 to 4.3 inches for 3/0 hooks. This jig head will therefore delight all sea hunters during hunts or on the fly, but also anglers in freshwater looking for large pike with small lures.
