The Tungsten Swim Jig Sakura are meticulously crafted and contain no lead. Tungsten was chosen for its very high density and its hardness, which improves the feel of the bottom and of obstacles. Naturally, the environmental aspect of this material was one of the selection criteria to replace lead. The Tungsten Swim Jig Sakura are among the essential lures for prospecting cluttered spots without risking snags. The head is equipped with a nylon weed-guard brush that deflects obstacles away from the hook point but collapses on the strike so you can set the hook effectively. Our jigs are fitted with an ultra-sharp black nickel hook, forged for greater robustness. The skirt of the Tungsten Swim Jig is made of silicone filaments, hand-tied and gives that semblance of life that will make all the difference from one jig to another. Of course, you can slide a soft bait onto the shank of the Tungsten Swim Jig as a trailer, to increase its volume, slow its descent and best imitate the prey on which the targeted predators feed. We recommend Yamamoto craws and creatures, but also soft swimbaits (shad) and grubs from our Sakura and Swimy ranges.
