Translated into English, the name Sømmet means "the nail" — this slim-bodied lure is one of the favourites among dedicated sea trout anglers in parts of Scandinavia. It may look like a nail, but in the water it is a perfect imitation of sand eels - perhaps the most important prey of large sea trout in shallow water.

Tip: Pass your line through the lure while taking care to protect the tying knot at the barrel swivel with a bead. We recommend mounting the hook using a split ring.
