Recently, fishing with large silicone baits has become widespread; they behave as naturally as possible and don't alert predators, especially when rigged on a jighead. However, because of the large size of the silicone bait, better performance requires the hook size to be comparable to the bait size. These requirements are met by the intech big game puncher jighead, which is built for fighting real trophies: these jigs feature a high-quality steel hook that withstands the most critical loads and stays sharp for a long time. At first glance, non-obvious features such as undershank height, hook thickness and the bait attachment system are worked out in the smallest detail in the big game puncher jigheads.

The hook has a high undershank; when fitted with a large jig and fleshy silicone there is still enough room for a solid hookset and excellent retention of the predator. To hold the bait firmly on the jig, a conical ring skirt is used; it secures the bait well and does not tear the silicone in the main section. This is especially true when using delicate, edible silicone with a high salt content in the bait.

The big game puncher jigheads use a quality hook made from highly malleable steel; for the same strength and dimensions the hook is thinner than those on similar jigs, which has positively affected penetration and has allowed a considerable increase in hookups.
