For an optimal configuration of your HUMMINBIRD GPS Fishfinder combo compatible with the SOLIX G3 / APEX and XPLORE series, this MEGA LIVE 2 Transducer and LIVE BASIC PIKE ‘N BASS transducer pole pack in 1m version reference 410191 is the ultimate solution for real-time images.

Direct connection via Ethernet on the /SOLIX G3/ APEX and XPLORE series. Minimum software version 4.020 required on the SOLIX / APEX and XPLORE series.

The new HUMMINBIRD Mega Live upgrades to version 2.0, bringing significant improvements:

Survey modes:
The search modes have evolved with four possible ways to use the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer.

A DOWN (downward view) The ideal view for VertiLive and/or pelagic open-water fishing.

A FORWARD (forward view) intended to survey at distance to discreetly locate and see your lure several meters from the boat.

A LANDSCAPE (panoramic view) A wide forward view to gather information around the boat in shallow water.

Open Water/TargetBoost: To be used for pelagic fishing, this mode emphasizes locating fish found mid-water.

Greater range:
With this new mode called “Open Water”, the Mega Live 2 transducer provides increased visibility up to 45m, allowing a better view of lures on the screen, even at distance.

Improved image stability and resolution with 15 color palettes available
It is therefore essential to use the LIVE BASIC Pike'N Bass transducer pole Made in FRANCE which installs easily on all types of boats thanks to the pedestal supplied as standard. Made of anodized aluminum tubes, it fits all boat decks: polyester (fiberglass), aluminum, wood or polyethylene.

It allows rapid deployment of your transducer and 360° orientation to optimize the view on your screen in all circumstances. It folds easily into a horizontal position so you can leave your complete installation safely on your boat during high-speed navigation and also on the road while traveling.

The brass inserts 247316 247306 and stainless 247406 AMIAUD, optional, make pedestal installation on your vessel easier.

Power supply advice:
The MEGA LIVE 2 transducer must be powered at 12v in addition to your fishfinder. You must provide enough Amp capacity on your 12V battery for good autonomy over a full day.

It is recommended to install a switch and/or a circuit breaker on the power supply of your MEGA LIVE transducer so you can turn it off while underway.

Installation advice for mounting the MEGA LIVE transducer on the removable transducer pole:
The transducer pole is generally mounted on the starboard side next to the helm so you can adjust the orientation of your transducer while seated at your boat's console and enjoy a full view if there are two anglers fishing vertically.

For navigation with an outboard engine and at high speed, you must fold your pole into the horizontal position to avoid any risk of damage and thus protect your transducer.

Warning!! If you need to raise your transducer out of the water, be sure to turn off the PING of the transducer on your screen so as not to run it out of the water.
