Rescue knife SMJ AW RESCUE

Rescue and emergency knife for sea and mountain professionals, the SMJ AW RESCUE (Air/Water) is specially designed to cut ropes (including mooring lines or very large-diameter towing lines). Already adopted by numerous rescuers and GRIMP firefighters (Research and Intervention Group in High-Risk Environments).

420 steel blade, 3 mm thick, allowing levering, and with a sheepfoot profile (no point) to limit the risk of injuries and puncturing inflatable boats. Very specific HPA serration: wide teeth (easily sharpened) and very laid over (high cutting power).

The Teflon coating protects against corrosion and increases the blade's glide when cutting large-section materials. Integrated marlinspike, jimping on the spine of the blade to prevent thumb slippage.

A very slim knife with ergonomics carefully designed for a secure grip. An indispensable tool in addition to PPE for offshore workers, as well as for emergencies on racing or recreational boats.

The sheath of the SMJ knife has also been particularly developed. It is reversible and designed to be attached in all positions, on almost all types of supports: stabilizer vests, life jacket, harness, backpack, belt, forearm ... The elastic lanyard secures the knife in its sheath to prevent any loss during reverse carry.
Can also be screwed in place on a boat.
