COG weights are designed to be used in a very specific way so that when a fish moves the weight, it feels the maximum resistance as quickly as possible. That is why they are called "Centre of Gravity" weights. For them to work effectively, they must be used with Centre of Gravity System booms.

COG weights are intended to be used with a Lead Clip and a boom made from spliced leadcore, fitted with a swivel at one end that attaches to the main line and inserts into the front of the Lead Clip. At the other end of the boom is a special swivel whose lower ring has been removed so that the body of the swivel fits perfectly into the rubber insert located in the centre of the COG weight.

This quick-change version features a size 11 QC swivel and an anti-tangle sleeve. It is perfect for leaving your leader in the boat while you row to your spot. Once in position, simply clip the rig on, secure it with the anti-tangle sleeve, then drop it into place.

Available in 3 sizes to suit Flat Pear COG weights from 3 oz to 8 oz.
