These Grapple Leads were developed to help you map the lakebed with an extreme level of precision. The claws on the weight allow you to detect traces and clues on the bottom that would normally go unnoticed with a smooth sinker.

The operation of the Grapple Lead is simple: just lock the four claws in the raised position before casting, then feel the drop and the impact on the bottom as usual. When retrieving the weight, weed beds, debris or natural food sources (such as mud worms) will collect around the claws, helping you determine precisely the nature of the bottom.

If the Grapple Lead encounters an excessive amount of weeds, rocks or mussel beds and becomes stuck, simply apply steady pressure to unlock the claws and recover the weight normally.

They are supplied in packs of two and are available in 2oz (56g), 3oz (85g) and 4oz (113g).
