Thanks to the lead's four flat faces, it is virtually impossible for the carp to roll this weight along the bottom. This means the carp has to move the entire rig, allowing it to instantly feel the full weight. The compact shape, flat sides and tapered profile make the inline square pear the most effective lead available today. If you fish in very hard water or need to improve the effectiveness of your rig, the square pear inline is the only lead to use. The large flat surface creates as much grip as possible on the lake bed. This allows you to fish on shelves and marginal slopes, on the top or the sides of bars without fear of the rig rolling downhill. The improved grip also lets you achieve a very tight line, which is ideal at distance or when fishing against snags. This lead is therefore perfect for bait fishing on large foreign waters or in rivers.
