A long, slim, heavy pencil, like a 'stick' fitted with hooks, very effective even when fish are selective. Fishing with these lures is simple — just cast and retrieve. In estuary mouths they are very effective when cast upstream rather than downstream. They are perfect for a slow or very slow retrieve, thanks to a steady (linear) retrieve, which means the lure hardly moves at all, producing only a small tail movement (the lure makes no noise), with astonishing naturalness. Predators will attack it without hesitation. You can also work it with lateral jerks to produce a zigzag movement on the surface of the water like a sinking walker. In short, a different and fun lure that you can make the most of on our fishing trips.
