A handy little accessory that prevents the line from completely reeling into your revolving drum reel without having to tie a knot (waste of line). The metallic eyelet secures the line without damaging it and the clip comes to rest against the line guide. It can also be used to block the line at the terminal ring (spinning / casting reel) to avoid having to thread the line through the rings again.
