UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) means Ultraviolet Protection Factor. This is the fabric's ability to prevent and repel the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays (UV-A, UV-B or UV-C). UPF has several ranks of protection indicated by a number: 20, 30, 50 and 50+. Currently, UPF50+ is the highest existing certification. This means that the garment protects the covered areas up to 98% against UV-A and UV-B radiation. (barely 2% of UVA and UVB rays pass through.)
Characteristics: • Logo chest, right shoulder and right arm • Crew neck. • Loose fit, to allow better air circulation between the fabric and your skin, ensuring great comfort. • MESH: Mesh section for maximum ventilation, reducing the feeling of heat, and allowing for faster moisture wicking • THUMB-HOLE: you will use your t-shirt in the traditional long-sleeve version or in the "thumb-hole" version to protect the entire top of your hands from the sun.
