The Onimaru is a metal blade whose design is based on a special balance derived from research into the behavior of marine predators. Its horizontal swimming posture faithfully imitates the silhouette of a small fleeing fish by emitting sharp vibrations at any retrieval speed without unhooking. The Onimaru has clearly visible lateral lines to quickly attract predators' attention, and the advantage of its hook mounted on a rolling swivel is that it greatly reduces the risk of line breaks or the hook coming off by limiting twisting and preventing the fish from using the lure as leverage during the fight. Its overall design also greatly helps prevent tangles between the lure's hook and the leader.
