Originating from Japan, the madai jig is increasingly popular on our Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts. The ease of use of the Sépia and the wide variety of species it allows you to catch are its two main strengths.

While lutjanids and sparids are the species that respond best to this type of lure, sea bass, amberjacks, weevers and other pollacks will also be tempted by a skilfully presented madai jig. Used in vertical fishing with light twitches above the seabed, its skirt and tentacles swell and undulate with pulls and releases. Imitating a small cephalopod in shape and swimming action, the Sépia is constructed with high-quality components.
