our goal with version 7 is to produce the most robust version, capable of delivering greater performance and lasting longer in extreme conditions. among the many fabric improvements, we have significantly increased its lifespan and its water-repellent/waterproof effect. detailed features and customization methods have also been added, such as a higher collar, for optimal protection against extreme weather conditions.
use : the ws7 is a wading jacket specially designed for coastal fishing along the danish coast, an activity that demands rugged equipment. 100% waterproof and breathable, our ws7 jacket will keep you dry even in heavy rain and wind. 100% saltwater resistant thanks to a new generation of ykk® aquaguard® zips. our robust and 100% waterproof ws7 jacket is the ideal outer layer in all weather.

pockets : the ws7 has 9 pockets.
• 2 "hand-warmer"/slanted pockets placed at chest/side height with magnetic closure and drain. • two large waterproof pockets that expand according to contents. they provide enough space for large boxes, such as the cf model. the pockets have an outer flap with magnetic closure for optimal protection against rain and splashes. • 2 chest-height front pockets with sealed ykk® aquaguard® zippers. • 1 waterproof, easily accessible napoleon inner pocket. • 1 spacious rear pocket with drain • an elastic mesh pocket inside the rear pocket can hold a water bottle or thermos. this pocket is sewn 25 cm higher inside the rear pocket.
the pockets are waterproof against rain, snow and wave splash.
but if the pockets are submerged, water will seep in. the same will happen if the pockets are not fully zipped; water will eventually enter.
no pocket is completely watertight because of condensation, which is inevitable when you are active in the rain or in very humid places.
recommendation: do not place non-waterproof electronic devices in your waterproof jacket or trousers, as condensation could damage them. place them in a waterproof bag designed for that purpose.
you will stay dry even if the inside of the pockets fills with water.

the hood features a soft fabric peak that follows head movements. the hood and collar are separate and offer optimal comfort without the hood; ideal with a cap or sunglasses.
one-handed adjustable drawcords are present on the edge of the hood. this elastic adjustment system lets you tighten the hood to your head, even with your favourite cap or hat on.
the cuff/sleeve is lined with a thin layer of "shark skin" neoprene. the hypalon closure with moulded and patented velcro® ensures a watertight seal.
two built-in reel/retractors on the reel are placed hidden under the front pocket flap.

fit : the ws 7 is optimised and tailored for casting.
the increased shoulder room and sleeve design provide optimal freedom of movement for all types of casting, whether fly or light casting. the sleeve lining makes the jacket easy to put on and take off and allows all types of casts.
the waist is adjustable and adapts to garments worn underneath. you can also close it tightly for wading in deep water.
material/fabric : the system fabric™ is a waterproof, breathable and durable material. this fabric is compatible with marine environments and machine washable, a unique characteristic for this type of jacket.
care : never leave your jacket wet in your car after fishing. always rinse with fresh water if the jacket has been exposed to salt water or dirt so it can last many seasons. after use, hang the jacket to dry in a well-ventilated, dry place. do not expose the jacket to heat for long periods. do not leave it on radiators/hot water pipes or similar places.
washing : never use compact or concentrated detergents. use only a suitable soap if necessary, for example grangers performance wash. always rinse with fresh water if the jacket has been exposed to salt water or dirt.
waterproofing : we recommend using the grangers performance repel plus spray before using your jacket to extend its life. you should use the grangers performance repel plus spray after every wash.
