Looped whishbone rig for crab fishing. 2 paddle hooks, forged, reverse bend, black nickel, mounted on fluorocarbon. The Flashmer crab wishbone rigs have been specifically designed for the most delicate fishing for gilthead seabream and other sparids (white seabream, grey bream, porgy, etc.). Ready to use, simply attach the loop to the swivel of a sliding rig (e.g.: hollow olive / bead / snap with rolling). The wishbone rig consists of a 200 cm leader which provides great discretion and allows a perfect presentation of the crab. It is made with fluorocarbon (abrasion resistance, low visibility). It ends with two small adjoining droppers, each fitted with a heavy-gauge, extremely sharp round bend paddle hook. These hooks are positioned at the rear and on each side of the crab for optimal hooking of the gilthead seabream. These are Mutu-type round hooks specially adapted for sparid fishing. They are forged heavy-gauge to withstand the powerful jaws of seabream but remain ultra-sharp (needle point). They are treated with black nickel for maximum discretion against the legendary wariness of sparids.
