Splicing needles are designed to neatly create loop splices or to connect monofilament lines to leadcore. Their micro-machined tip is fitted with a hinged flap that closes to capture the fibers and prevent any snagging. The shaft, made of small-diameter stainless steel, also makes them ideal for hair rigging with very small or soft baits, without splitting them.
