For an optimal configuration of your HUMMINBIRD GPS fishfinder combo compatible with the SOLIX G3 / APEX and XPLORE series, this MEGA LIVE 2 transducer and LIVE PIKE N BASS transducer pole pack in 1m version reference 410169 is the ultimate solution for real-time images.

Direct connection via Ethernet on series /SOLIX G3/ APEX and XPLORE. Software version 4.020 minimum required on SOLIX / APEX and XPLORE series.

WARNING, the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer is not compatible with the HELIX series

The new HUMMINBIRD Mega Live moves to version 2.0, bringing significant improvements:

Everything has been redesigned to offer superior performance, including a new design and updated electronics.

It is even suitable for sea use !!!

Survey modes :
The prospecting modes evolve with four possibilities for exploiting the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer.

A DOWN (down view) view. The ideal view for VertiLive and/or pelagic fishing in open water.

A FORWARD (forward view) view intended to prospect at distance to discreetly spot and see your lure several meters from the boat.

A LANDSCAPE (panoramic view) A wide forward view to gather information around the boat in shallow water.

Open Water/TargetBoost : To be used for pelagic fishing, this mode emphasizes detecting fish located mid-water.

Greater range :
With this new mode called “Open Water”, the Mega Live 2 transducer provides increased visibility up to 45m, allowing better sight of lures on the screen, even at distance.

Improved stability and image resolution with 15 color palettes available
It is therefore essential to use the LIVE Pike'N Bass transducer pole Made in FRANCE which installs easily on all types of boats thanks to the pedestal supplied as standard. Made of anodized aluminum tubes, it adapts to all boat decks: polyester, aluminum, wood or polyethylene.

It allows quick deployment of your transducer and 360° orientation to optimize the view on your screen in all circumstances. It folds easily into the horizontal position to allow you to leave your complete installation safely on your boat during high-speed navigation but also on the road during your travels.

The brass inserts 247316 247306 and stainless 247406 AMIAUD as Option, facilitate installation of the pedestal on your craft.

Power supply advice :
The MEGA LIVE 2 transducer must be powered at 12v in addition to your fishfinder. You must plan enough current in Amps on your 12V battery for good autonomy over a full day.

It is recommended to install a switch and/or a circuit breaker on the power supply of your MEGA LIVE2 transducer to be able to cut it off during movements on the water.

Installation advice for mounting the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer on the removable transducer pole :
Mounting the transducer pole is generally on the starboard side and next to the helm to be able to adjust the orientation of your transducer while seated at your console seat and to enjoy a full view if you are two anglers in vertical fishing mode.

For navigation with an internal combustion engine and at high speed, you must fold your pole well into the horizontal position to avoid any risk of damage and thus protect your transducer.

Attention !! If you need to raise your transducer out of the water, remember to turn off the PING of the transducer on your screen so as not to run it out of the water.
