Embark for excellence with the MEGA PACK LIVE HUMMINBIRD for exceptional images and a unique experience on the water in search of your favorite fish!!!

The long-awaited new release from HUMMINBIRD with the XPLORE 10 MSI+.
The new XPLORE GPS series with a touchscreen paired with its new MSI+ transducer for a power of 1000w and advanced connectivity for an unprecedented experience and compatibility with the new MEGA LIVE 2 transducer!!

A touchscreen ? :
A touchscreen with a completely revamped interface and an ultra MEGA fast processor!!!

A new Mega Side Imaging+ and Mega Down Imaging+ transducer ? :
While the Xplore monitor is still capable of using 800khz, the transducers supplied with the Xplore (SH-A-140T) no longer include the 800kHz frequency. This frequency was little used because on significant depths 455kHz is essential whereas in shallower depths the MEGA IMAGING+ frequencies are unbeatable. The transmit power of the Xplore remains 1000w RMS like the Helix and Solix.

Software compatibility and connectivity :
The Xplore series uses the same software as the Apex series and benefits from the same screw-on connectivity, ensuring increased robustness and reliability.

Two microSD ports are located on the front.

Networking :
The Xplore GPS fishfinders can be networked with the Solix G3 and Apex models, offering optimal flexibility and integration for users. Networking components include WiFi, Bluetooth and an Ethernet port.

It has only one ETHERNET port; it will be necessary to install an OPTIONAL ETHERNET HUB reference AS-ETH5PGL in order to be able to pair a Mega live transducer and another compatible display.

Compatibility of MEGA LIVE 1 AND 2
• An Ethernet port allows connecting the MEGA LIVE 1 transducer and/or the new MEGA LIVE 2 generation whose performance is significantly superior.
• NMEA 2000 network to support virtually all NMEA 2000 data and accessories, such as engine information, consumption data, speed and wind data and atmospheric data.
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication to support Humminbird and Minn Kota accessories, as well as Navionics functionality.
• HDMI input and output for camera connection and allowing sending the image to an external screen.
• Compatible with ONE-BOAT NETWORK offering control of Minn Kota electric motors i-Pilot Link and/or GPS and transom anchors, as well as Cannon Optimum winches.
• Compatible with Humminbird CHIRP radar, Fusion audio systems, autopilot, VHF radio systems and CZone digital switching devices.

User Guide

The new transducer HUMMINBIRD Mega Live is upgraded to version 2.0, bringing significant improvements :

New electronics and new design :
Everything has been revised to offer superior performance, including a new design and updated electronics.

It is even compatible for use at sea !!!

Survey modes :
The search modes have evolved with four operating options for the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer.

A DOWN (view downward) view — the ideal view for VertiLive and/or pelagic fishing in open water.

A FORWARD (forward view) view intended to prospect at distance to discreetly spot and see your lure a few meters from the boat.

A LANDSCAPE (panoramic view) — a wide front view to gather information around the boat in shallow water.

Open Water/TargetBoost : To be used for pelagic fishing, this mode emphasizes spotting fish located mid-water.

Greater range :
With this new mode called « Open Water », the Mega Live 2 transducer provides increased visibility up to 45m, allowing better visibility of lures on the screen, even at distance.

Improved image stability and resolution with 15 color palettes available

Compatibility :
With its increased performance, Only the Xplore, Solix G3, and Apex series will have sufficient power to exploit this new transducer which, in the absence of a black box, requires a processor with high computational capacity.

WARNING, the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer is not compatible with the HELIX series fishfinders

12V power supply for the MEGA LIVE transducer

Power supply advice :
The MEGA LIVE 2 transducer must be powered at 12v in addition to your fishfinder. You need to provide enough current in Amps on your 12V battery for good autonomy over an entire day.

It is recommended to install a switch and/or a circuit breaker on the power supply of your MEGA LIVE transducer in order to be able to cut it off while moving on the water.

Possible mounting directly on the driveshaft of ULTREX AND FORTREX motors.

Advice for installing the Mega live transducer :
To get the most out of the MEGA LIVE 2 transducer's potential, it is recommended to use the adjustable PIKE'N BASS Transducer Pole offered in a long 2 m version reference 410170 for use at sea, in an intermediate 1.90 m version reference 410168 for use in sea and or freshwater and in a short PIKE'N BASS 1 m version reference 410169/410190 and 410191 for freshwater.

This transducer pole allows quick deployment of your transducer and a 360° orientation to optimize the view on your screen in all circumstances. It folds easily into a horizontal position to allow you to leave your complete installation safely on your boat during high-speed navigation but also on the road during your travels.

For navigation with a combustion engine and at high speed, you must fold your pole properly into the horizontal position to avoid any risk of damage and thus protect your transducer.

Warning !! If you need to raise your transducer out of the water, remember to turn off the transducer PING on your screen to avoid operating it out of the water.
