Oval phosphorescent beads are certainly the most used in surfcasting. These three complementary phospho colors are a source of light capable of boosting the bioluminescence of certain baits such as lugworms or pieces of cephalopod flesh. Available in three sizes, the L models are widely used on the Atlantic side and the intermediate sizes are more suited to the light fishing typical of the Mediterranean Sea.
