this generation of gunki spinning reels, offered in a clean design and badged to perfectly match the gunki chooten cut rods, is an evolution of the high-end « thg » models. available in three sizes, spool capacities have been adjusted to perfectly match the appropriate line diameter to use for each model. size 1000 is perfect for vertical fishing. size 1500 will be suitable for finesse approaches and lure fishing in small streams. the 2500 model is ideal for light to medium-heavy fishing that requires imparting more or less fast retrieve speeds. very smooth, they feature exceptional rotational softness. to contain the pressures exerted on the body and rotor and optimize performance while fishing, we selected a carbon-loaded composite material, whose characteristics of the “stiffness/lightness” pair guarantee the manufacture of durable reels with fine lines, while remaining very light. the handle, directly screwed onto the drive gear, eliminates any play during retrieval and provides a gain of power “under load” particularly appreciated during the fight. the multi-disk (with carbon disc) and micrometric drag is protected by a sealing gasket that secures the best guarantees of adjustment and performance, whatever the weather conditions. reels that are the flagship of our range and that will pair perfectly with the chooten cut rods.
