kevlar® is mainly used for making rigs. kevlar® is extremely resistant to abrasion and to rubbing from the very rough teeth of catfish.

This material is perfectly suited for making flexible leaders on single or treble hooks, depending on the type of fishing chosen.

Knotless knots must be secured with a silicone sleeve or heat-shrink tubing, kevlar® not being affected by heat. It is also possible, thanks to its high cut resistance, to use these braids to make "assist hooks" on deepwater jigs (grouper, trevally, etc.) in tropical countries.
