The PENN Battalion Solid Offshore Casting rod is perfect not only for long-distance casting, but also for putting serious pressure on big fish. The unique Solid Spiral Armor technology uses reinforced spiral-shaped fibres in the blank, which creates a blank with a strength never seen before for a carbon rod. Due to the high carbon density, you still have a rod with great sensitivity and, with lightweight Fuji Alconite guides, it remains extremely light. The reversed guides will reduce the risk of tangling and the Solid Carbon Blank of this light rod will ensure you have control over the fish.
