The SALTIGA "DOG FIGHT" series is the result of close collaboration between a Daiwa Japan partner specialising in targeting big fish and the brand's engineers. Ichiro Sato has used Saltiga reels for many years, and these specialist rods were designed in close consultation with the development teams in Japan.

The 72 model (2.18 m), rated #PE 12, is very easy to handle given its power and is suited to fishing from a medium-sized boat, while the 76 (2.29 m), rated #PE 10, is suitable for very powerful casts from a larger, open space. The 67-15 model is ideal for very large fish; its short length makes it easier to play fish alongside the boat and reduces angler fatigue.

The rod is fitted with Fuji RV guides, which allow the braid to pass through smoothly, even at larger diameters.

Features:
• HVF carbon blank
• V-JOINT ALPHA spigot joint
• Fuji SIC guides
• Fuji DPS reel seat
• EVA foam handle
• Very powerful progressive action

Technologies:
• HVF
• V-Joint X
• X45 Full Shield
