with excellent value for money, the penn® squadron iv travel boat rod series is built with blanks with modern action and a very attractive look. the four-piece blanks are made from 24t carbon and are designed for drift fishing wrecks with lures or for more traditional bottom fishing to target cod, pollack and ling. the most powerful versions will be perfect for fishing halibut in norway. the travel boat rods have handles the same length as conventional boat rods for fishing from a boat, except that their blank has been adapted for a 4-piece rod construction. no compromise has been made regarding the position of the handle and of the reel seat. they feature an ergonomic high-density eva handle and are equipped with penn dura-guide stainless steel rings allowing the use of all types of lines. these rings are extremely robust and durable. these rods are designed to last.
