The Alivio Boat range is designed to bridge the gap between entry-level boat rods and more advanced models, making it ideal for anglers looking to hone their skills and fish with greater confidence. Offering a well-judged balance of strength, sensitivity and control, it delivers reliable Shimano performance for a wide range of bottom-fishing techniques in coastal and offshore conditions.

If you’re ready to move beyond a basic boat-fishing setup, the Alivio Boat is a smart upgrade that inspires confidence. With a versatile casting weight range of 50 to 150 g and three length options available, it is well suited to fishing in both shallow and deep water. Whether drifting over rough ground, the edges of wrecks or targeting species that hug the seabed, the rod offers a reassuring combination of control and power. Designed to improve sensitivity and handling while remaining easy and forgiving to use, it enhances both performance and enjoyment without breaking the bank.

At the heart of the Alivio Boat is a high-quality composite blank that delivers improved responsiveness and overall performance compared with entry-level models. The action is slightly faster and more precise, improving bite detection and feedback while retaining enough give to play fish comfortably alongside the boat. The reinforced blank construction also provides greater lifting power, making it easier to handle larger fish and more demanding fishing situations. Despite this increased strength, the rod remains lightweight and well balanced, helping to reduce fatigue during long sessions and improve overall control.

The Alivio Boat is fitted with corrosion-resistant Shimano stainless steel guides, ensuring smooth and reliable line flow when fishing with braid or mono. A secure DPS reel seat keeps your reel firmly in place, while the ergonomic EVA handle provides lasting comfort, grip and durability in harsh saltwater environments. Practical, reliable and easy to fish with, the Alivio Boat is a versatile rod designed to help anglers fish more effectively and with greater confidence at sea.
