The CurrentSniper XR is available in a versatile range of lengths and actions. Whether you are targeting coastal fish, distant reefs or open-water species from a boat, this rod is designed to meet all requirements. The high-performance characteristics of the CurrentSniper XR come from a High Modulus Full Carbon blank that includes Shimano's exclusive Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X technologies, as well as Nanopitch. This combination reduces blank twist and improves casting distance and accuracy, offering exceptional long-distance performance. Shimano's unique Spiral X-Core technology reinforces the blank, while the screw lock system increases joint strength and makes it easier to dismantle the rod into two pieces. The stainless-steel K-type SiC Fuji guides improve casting performance and reduce line wear. The Fuji DPS reel seat, with a double locking nut, ensures a secure fit for all reel sizes, while the ergonomic EVA handle provides a sure grip even when wet. The range spans power ratings from M to XH, suited to metal jigs and plugs of about 30g to over 100g.
