The Talica STP Spiral represents the latest evolution of Shimano's premium Stand-Up rod range. Developed for Big Game specialists, it delivers an exceptional level of power, control and comfort. Thanks to its completely redesigned blank, it reduces fight times and angler fatigue. Supplied with a curved carbon butt and a straight aluminum butt, it adapts to different fighting techniques to target the largest tunas and other large pelagic predators.

Designed for experienced anglers, the Talica STP Spiral pairs a full carbon blank with Shimano's most advanced technologies to deliver remarkable lifting power, precise control and long-lasting endurance during the most demanding fights. Fuji SiC guides mounted in a spiral optimize the blank's natural action, improve power transfer and limit twisting, for maximum stability against the most powerful fish.

The blank benefits from High Pressure Carbon (HPC), Nanosheet, Biofibre, Diaflash and Twist-Control technologies. This combination provides quick recovery, excellent resistance to stress and great lightness, while maintaining optimal control during prolonged fights.

Every component has been selected to meet Big Game requirements. Spiral-mounted Fuji HB SiC guides eliminate blank twist, while the Pac Bay aluminum reel seat provides a perfectly secure hold. The high-density EVA foregrip offers excellent handling, even when wet. The rod is supplied with a Shimano curved carbon butt, a straight aluminum butt and a neoprene cover for transport.
