The TLD Stand-Up is a Big Game rod offering excellent value for money, designed for fishing large pelagic, hard-fighting species such as tunas and sharks. Available in four power ratings, from 20 lb to 80 lb, it is built on a full carbon blank (Full Carbon) reinforced with Biofibre technology, ensuring exceptional strength and reliability in the most demanding situations.

If you are serious about big-game fishing and are looking for one or more rods that combine quality, toughness and an affordable price, the TLD Stand-Up is an excellent choice. Tested against some of the largest fish in the world, it has earned a strong reputation thanks to its performance and reliability, making it a reference for many fishing boat captains. Paired with a Shimano TLD reel, it forms a high-performance outfit any angler can be proud of, whatever their level of experience.

The full carbon blank, reinforced with Biofibre technology, offers an ideal combination of power, lightness and reliability. The most powerful models have an impressive power reserve, while the 20 lb model is perfectly suited to stand-up fights thanks to its progressive action, which provides excellent feel while limiting angler fatigue. The 20 lb model is fitted with Shimano Hardlite stainless steel guides, compatible with braided lines as well as monofilaments. The more powerful models receive Shimano roller guides, designed to reduce friction when the line is subjected to very high tensions.

The handle features a lightweight aluminum butt covered with high-quality EVA foam for an excellent grip. An aluminum reel seat completes the set to ensure the reel is held perfectly securely.
