A new name joins our catalogue of Tenryu rods: NAMIJA

This series was developed by Tenryu at our request to meet the demands of shore fishing in Europe. NAMIJA is an exclusive Ultimate Fishing range

Why NAMIJA ?
In Japan, sea bass fishing is practised mainly with hard lures, whereas in Europe practices have gradually integrated more soft lures. In these different markets (Japan, Benelux, United Kingdom...), shore sea bass fishing also relies on long rods to optimise casting distance and line control.

NAMIJA therefore offers a dedicated interpretation of these lengths, with a faster action, in line with current European techniques, while retaining excellent versatility with hard, topwater or metal lures.

The range consists of 4 models from 2.70 m to 3.25 m (9’ to 10’8’’).

The Namija 900M is a very fast and highly sensitive rod designed primarily for shore sea bass fishing with lures up to 35g. It is a versatile model perfect for many soft-lure techniques but also an excellent choice for fishing with hardbaits and topwater lures. Its action and sensitivity also make it an ideal rod for zander fishing in large rivers and canals, or for stalking asp when it is necessary to make casts at a good distance while keeping maximum line control.
