the penn® pursuit® v boat sets are available in two different versions: a 20-30 lb version and a 30-50 lb version, both equipped with a powerful size 6000 reel. both combos can be used for almost any type of fishing you can imagine. the only difference is that the 30-50 lb version is more powerful and would be better suited for deep-water fishing with large lures or baits when targeting big fish such as sharks or halibut. both versions feature a very sensitive blank and are fitted with k-type saltwater-resistant guides that help reduce the risk of the line tangling around the guides. the penn® pursuit® v. the penn® pursuit® v reels are equipped with a durable, corrosion-resistant graphite frame and a powerful ht-100 drag system. the instant anti-reverse eliminates any back play of the rotor and the 4+1 sealed stainless steel ball bearings give them a smooth operation. all that's left is to spool your reel with the line of your choice and you'll have an incredible set, built to last and sold at a very affordable price.
