Based on the very popular barbless Kaizen model, the barbed Kaizen was developed for anglers fishing in natural waters, where the use of a barbed hook is preferred. Retaining the same proven shape and hookset effectiveness that made the original Kaizen successful, this barbed version is the ideal choice for targeting sizeable fish in natural waters, such as bream, silver bream, tench and carp.

Available in paddle and ring-eye versions, the Kaizen Barbed offers great versatility to suit many fishing techniques. The paddle version is ideal for long pole fishing and traditional feeder, providing a reliable hook for a direct bait presentation and a secure hold on the fish. The ring-eye version is perfect for hair rigs with baits such as worms, maggots or wafters, making it an excellent choice for anglers seeking a robust and reliable hook for the larger species found in natural waters.

One of the main features of the Kaizen Barbed is its high-performance PTFE coating, which helps keep the point perfectly sharp for longer. This ensures excellent point durability, better penetration and more effective hooksets, resulting in more fish hooked and landed in the net.
