One of the original features of this lure is that, for the first time on the market, it offers a very pronounced paint finish as well as a very pronounced 3-D eye. Some paint masks or glitter are applied inside the lure and others on the outside. The longevity of the color is therefore obviously increased and the visual effect is truly distinctive.

Born from the partnership between the American Joe Peterson (TrueGlide) and CWC, the GUPPIES offer an incomparable swimming action. Depending on the tail used (screw-in system) they can be used as a simple cast-and-retrieve (shad tail) or in jerks with pauses (comma tail) The type of tail used modifies the lure's dynamics, thus offering more possibilities. The GUPPIE JR differs from the GUPPIE in its action by a faster frequency during animation.

Another particularity concerning the GUPPIE: It is the only Jerkbait or Tailbait able to operate down to 7 meters and keep its swimming depth throughout the retrieve.

The convex profile of these two lures (or should I say four…) clears the hook and ensures better penetration on the strike.

During pauses the GUPPIES sink horizontally with a side-to-side rocking effect.
