The Flat Tricoroll family has grown with a smaller model that is just as high-performing, even more so if you consider that its hold against the strongest currents is simply astounding. It is probably under those conditions that this small model proves most efficient, notably when it rises through seams of water during a steady retrieve close to eroded banks or beneath riparian vegetation. Otherwise, it has retained the same characteristics as its big brother. While its vibration frequency can be very high, allowing it to stand up to any current, it can still descend through a water column while performing the famous rolling movement that alone is capable of triggering a trout strike. It has also proven very effective on slow rivers when prospecting with the rod held high, skimming the surface layer above open-water weedbeds or in the channels they form.
