With its streamlined body, the YAMAÏ 50s was designed for trout fishing in torrents and fast rivers. It has excellent holding power in the current, allowing downstream fishing and fishing strong water runs. Handmade in Japan, its body is covered with a thin sheet of aluminum whose refractive index gives it a very natural-looking finish. The YAMAÏ 50s swims naturally in the current but can also be twitched to provoke fish or used for upstream fishing to make it quiver. Thanks to its patented balancing system (M.S.W), it casts with surgical accuracy at long range; it never comes off and does not get snagged on the bottom thanks to the positioning of its lip. At 4.5g, the YAMAÏ 50s is a silent Heavy Sinking lure equipped with red hooks to trigger more strikes and fine-wire points to optimize hook-ups. If you are targeting large fish, we therefore recommend changing the rigging to stronger wire models.
