Jackson Artist HWT – Specially for Tuna

The Artist range now includes an HWT (Heavy Weight Through-Wired) version, designed to take on tuna and the most powerful predators. Compact, dense and built for extreme fights, the Artist HWT is the essential lure for targeting tuna, bonito and Atlantic bonito.

Why choose the Artist HWT?

Reinforced through-wire construction: reliable during the powerful runs of tuna.

Optimised casting weight: 28 g (105 mm) and 42 g (120 mm) make it easy to reach offshore feeding frenzies.

Ultra-fast action: designed to withstand a fast retrieve without losing its action, ideal for fish in a feeding frenzy.

Stability and effectiveness: even at high speed, it maintains a steady action and provokes decisive takes.

Versatile in salt water: also perfect for Atlantic bonito, bluefish and other pelagic predators.

How to use:
Cast a long way and retrieve quickly with the rod held high to imitate fleeing prey.
Vary the pace (fast, steady retrieve / short pauses) to trigger bites.
Use a strong outfit: PE 2–5 braid, 50–100 lb fluorocarbon leader and hooks suitable for large fish.

With the Artist HWT, Jackson has created a tuna-specific lure that can handle the most intense fights while remaining effective at very high speed. An essential choice for anglers looking for power and reliability.
