The Clear-S Popper 10 cm – 50 g is a sinking popper developed for powerful sea fishing, particularly for targeting tuna species: bonito, little tunny, skipjack tuna, juvenile bluefin tuna and wahoo.

Its compact size combined with its high weight allows for long-distance casts, even in a strong wind, while maintaining excellent stability at high speed.

Its through-wire construction provides optimum strength when fighting powerful, fast pelagic fish.

Fast surface retrieve

Retrieved quickly, the Clear-S Popper strikes the surface with its concave head, creating:
• Pronounced splashes
• A loud, powerful pop
• Strong water displacement.

This action perfectly imitates a fleeing baitfish, triggering reflex attacks from tuna species actively hunting.

Ideal when fish are visibly feeding or bursting through the surface.

Working the lure just below the surface.

With long pulls of the rod held low, the lure swims just below the surface.

It then produces:
• Long trails of bubbles
• A sustained vibration
• A subtler but highly attractive action

This approach is deadly when:
• Fish are shying away from overly noisy retrieves
• Tuna have dropped slightly deeper
