the sleepeur embodies a perfect trout lure for summer and its low, warm waters. it's a very technical lure based on 'twitcher' models, although it is also effective on a steady retrieve.

this lure is a rattler thanks to beads that also ensure mass transfer during casts, thereby increasing accuracy. the objective is to place the lure flush against roots, boulders and obstacles. once on the spot, you just need to twitch it with the rod held high, without reeling (while drifting). these movements will offset the lure, almost in place. it's a very static style of fishing, very close to the hideouts, allowing you to dislodge the most timid fish.

the sleepeur will be fully effective in small and medium rivers in the heart of summer. sinking, it allows fishing all positions with its swimming depth of about 40 cm on a straight retrieve.
