this lure is an evolution of the d-contact and the d-contact 2. it is equipped with a weight transfer that favors distance and accuracy. this weight, once placed back in its housing, produces a slight muted rattle on twitches allowing the fish to locate the prey in stained water. during the cast, while keeping the pick-up open, the d-coax will descend from the rear at high speed; it will fish deeper than a d-contact. once the line is taut, its broad, flat belly will allow an oscillation on the fall during pauses. the lure remains fishable. during the fishing action, its very flat flanks will be subjected to the vagaries of currents, giving it more life.
