The Mirage JT 161 Trefle Creation is a 2-joint swimbait! With exceptional finishing quality, it comes with hyper-imitative colorings with a fish scale pattern that is more realistic than nature itself. The head even has a metallic overlay for even more resemblance. The Mirage JT 161 develops a very natural S-shaped swimming action with simple linear retrieval on the reel. The front attachment position horizontally amplifies this swimming action. When jerked, it unbalances with lively lateral yaws while tumbling within. During pauses, it slowly sinks horizontally while wobbling within, just like a wounded prey would.

This swimbait has an extremely innovative system that allows it to achieve record casting distances for a 3-part articulating lure: the pendulum joint (pendulum lock system). This patented system is revolutionary as it blocks the 2 mobile parts during casting - allowing the lure to stay straight like an arrow. The Mirage JT 161 is even one of the few swimbaits in the tail-end equipped with a tungsten ball mass transfer system. Combined, these 2 technologies enable it to reach exceptional distances for a swimbait.

The Mirage JT 161 is a perfect swimbait for fishing big predators (large pikes, big black bass, etc.) Note that its creator, Iroshi Takahashi, initially designed it for sea use on fine predators (bass, bluefish, barracudas, etc.) - which is unusual for a swimbait. The Mirage JT 161 is equipped with a replaceable TPE soft tail.
