As often, the brand BIWAA likes to be where it is least expected. This is again the case with this very latest soft lure called DEUS, a shad with a custom design that can be described as a «swimbait finesse ».
At the heart of this brand-new concept was the idea of putting a technically exceptional product into anglers' hands. The designers of the DEUS therefore set out to develop a unique product, combining very specific features while respecting one requirement: maximum effectiveness.

Thus, the DEUS has the ability to adapt to all situations and therefore to all possible rigs. Its body is injection-molded with two materials, the belly material being salted and denser than that of the back. This particularity allows the shad to position itself and remain stable at all retrieval speeds, particularly on drop-shot, split-shot or weightless rigs. Ventral and dorsal slots have also been provided for a perfect rigging and weedless positioning of the Texas hook. In addition, inside the ventral slot you will find a pre-positioning hole that will allow you to insert a tungsten nail-type weight while maintaining the DEUS's balance.

In terms of material, once again BIWAA has developed a brand-new "ECO" formulation without phthalates in order to achieve a suppleness perfectly suited to the lure's design and function. To make it even more effective, two types of B2A attractants based on natural shrimp have been integrated into the manufacturing process. One of the attractants is trapped inside the shad's material, while the other, used externally, diffuses into the water and sends a strong signal to predators.

On the design side, almost trivial little details give the DEUS exceptional appeal even in crystalline waters. Whatever the retrieval speed, the subtle rocking movement of its uniquely designed tail perfectly imitates a distressed fish. This imitative effect is reinforced by small scales engraved over the entire body of the lure. If you add to that particularly worked colors to imitate the most common baitfish hues, you get an almost perfect mimicry effect in the water.
