As often, the brand BIWAA likes to be where it is not expected. This is again the case with this latest soft lure called DEUS, a custom-designed shad that can be described as a "finesse swimbait". At the base of this brand new concept, the idea was to put in the hands of fishermen a technically exceptional product. The designers of the DEUS therefore set out to develop a unique product, combining very particular characteristics while respecting one imperative: maximum efficiency.
Thus, the DEUS has the ability to adapt to all situations and therefore to all possible rigs. Its body is injected in bi-material, that of its belly being salted and denser than that of its back. This feature allows the shad to position and remain stable at all retrieval speeds, especially on drop-shot, split-shot or weightless rigs. Ventral and dorsal slots have also been provided for perfect rigging and anti-weed positioning of the Texas hook. In addition, inside the ventral slot, you will find a pre-drilled positioning hole that will allow you to insert a tungsten nail weight while maintaining the DEUS's balance.
Material-wise, once again BIWAA has developed a brand new "ECO" formulation without phthalates in order to achieve a flexibility in total accordance with the design and function of the lure. To make it even more effective, two types of B2A attractants based on natural shrimp have been incorporated into the manufacturing process. One of the attractants is captive inside the material of the shad, while the other, used on the outside, diffuses in the water and sends a strong signal to predators.
On the design side, small almost insignificant details give the DEUS an exceptional attractiveness even in crystal clear waters. Regardless of the retrieval speed, the subtle swinging movement of its uniquely designed tail perfectly mimics a distressed fish. This imitative effect is enhanced by small scales engraved on the entire body of the lure. If we add to that particularly worked colors to mimic the colors of the most common bait fish, we get an almost perfect mimetic effect in the water.
