As is often the case, the BIWAA brand likes to be where it's least expected. This is once again true with this very latest soft plastic lure called DEUS, a shad with a custom design that could be described as a "swimbait finesse".
At the heart of this brand-new concept was the idea of putting an unusually technical product into anglers' hands. The designers of the DEUS therefore set out to develop a unique product combining very particular characteristics while respecting one imperative: maximum effectiveness.

Thus, the DEUS has the ability to adapt to all situations and therefore to all possible rigs. Its body is injection-molded in two materials, the one in its belly being salted and denser than that of its back. This feature allows the shad to position itself and remain stable at all retrieval speeds, particularly on drop-shot, split-shot, or weightless setups. Ventral and dorsal slots have also been provided for a perfect rigging and an anti-weed positioning of the Texas hook. Moreover, inside the ventral slot you will find a pre-drilled positioning hole that will allow you to insert a tungsten nail-type weight while preserving the DEUS's balance.

On the material side, once again BIWAA has developed a whole new "ECO" formulation without phthalates in order to achieve a suppleness fully in line with the lure's design and function. To make it even more effective, two types of B2A attractants based on natural shrimp were integrated into the manufacturing process. One of the attractants is captive within the shad's material, while the other, used externally, diffuses into the water and sends a strong signal to predators.

In terms of design, small seemingly insignificant details give the DEUS exceptional attractiveness even in crystal-clear waters. Whatever the retrieval speed, the subtle rocking movement of its uniquely designed caudal tail imitates a distressed fish to perfection. This imitative effect is reinforced by small scales engraved over the entire body of the lure. Add to that particularly well-crafted colors to mimic the most common baitfish, and you get an almost perfect mimicry effect in the water.
