the tough is the perfect weapon for fishing pike, zander, black bass and large perch. this lure has a long, thin body, similar to most "shad"-type lures, but the main feature of the tough is a tail with a massive, heavy paddle. in combination with a relatively thin body, this tail emits very low-frequency vibrations with large amplitude. even at a very slow retrieve, the tough undulates impressively with the tail, which in turn sets the whole body in motion and thus the lure creates significant oscillations. on the belly of this lure there is a small flat fin that is designed for a balanced setup with a texas hook. a size 6/0 or 7/0 texas hook is ideal for this lure. in general, the lure produces a lot of vibrations in different directions. the tough is very agile and has the qualities needed to try to catch pike and perch. a tip for fishing with this lure is jigging with a jighead. it's excellent but also try it on a drop shot, texas or carolina rig. it is recommended for catching pike, zander, black bass and perch in lakes, canals and slow-flowing rivers.
