The TOUGH is the perfect weapon for fishing pike, zander, largemouth bass and big perch. This lure has a long, thin body, similar to most "shad"-type lures, but the main feature of the TOUGH is a massive, heavy paddle tail. In combination with a relatively slim body, this tail emits very low-frequency vibrations with great amplitude. Even at a very slow retrieve, the TOUGH undulates impressively with the tail, which in turn sets the whole body in motion and the lure thus creates significant oscillations. On the belly of this lure there is a small flat fin designed for a balanced setup with a Texas hook. A size 6/0 or 7/0 Texas hook is ideal for this lure. In general, the lure produces a lot of vibrations in different directions. The TOUGH is very agile and has the qualities necessary to attempt to catch pike and perch. One tip for fishing with this lure is jigging with a jighead. It’s excellent but also try it on a drop shot, Texas or Carolina rig. It is recommended for catching pike, zander, largemouth bass and perch in lakes, canals and slow-flowing rivers.
